Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School (Class of 2013) - while attending BSM I participated in Basketball, Football, Track & Field and Soccer! University of St. Thomas (Class of 2017) I received my Bachelors Degree - Majored in Health Promotion and was a four year Sprinter, Long Jumper and High Jumper for the Track and Field Team.
Biography
Teaching appeared as an opportunity for me that I couldn’t pass up when I graduated college. I worked with youth up through college was already involved in a community I first taught in as a coach and loved the joy and energy of being in a space like the gym that I enjoy sharing with others. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this is where I’m supposed to be outside of coaching. Seeing the joy on the kids faces when they play and seeing how much of life/character development happens in their youngest years is a powerful thing and I’m grateful to be a part of that to hopefully inspire them to be and believe in themselves and take on anything they put their mind to with confidence, determination and joy. I’m so grateful to be a part of the St. Therese community and look forward to each day I get to spend here with both the students and staff.
