Our Mission & Values

What we believe

As a Catholic school serving students from preschool through eighth grade, we pair excellence in education with intentional faith formation and character development. We recognize the God-given dignity and unique gifts of every child and strive to create a community where students are known, loved, challenged, and encouraged to grow.

Our root beliefs

Our Root Beliefs are the principles at the heart of St. Therese. They shape how we teach, how we learn, how we treat one another, and how we live out our Catholic faith each day.

Rooted in our mission and developed through thoughtful reflection with members of our school community, these five beliefs put into words what has long made St. Therese special. They are visible throughout our school, but more importantly, they come to life in our classrooms, hallways, friendships, service, prayer, and everyday interactions.

All are welcome. Every person is created and loved by God and has a place in our community.

God is in all things. We recognize God’s presence in our learning, our relationships, our joys, our challenges, and the world around us.

We are always learning. We encourage curiosity, perseverance, growth, and a lifelong love of learning.

We do Christ’s work. We put our faith into action by serving others, choosing kindness, and sharing Christ’s love.

Little things make big things happen. Inspired by St. Thérèse’s “Little Way,” we know that small acts done with great love can make a lasting difference.
