Academic excellence
Our academic program is designed to fuel a love of learning. We believe excellence is achieved by setting high standards, providing appropriate instructional methods, and monitoring achievement. Your child will be challenged, supported, and provided opportunities to explore his or her God-given potential.
Character building
Students build a strong foundation of values that carry them through life. We emphasize virtues and skills that form good citizens, including respect, gratitude, collaboration, resilience and compassion, and we give students real opportunities to serve, from small gestures of love to our annual meal pack for Feed My Starving Children. St. Therese students have good grades and good hearts.
Buddies
Every younger student is paired with an older Buddy for the school year. Buddies sit together at Mass each week, work on service projects and classroom activities together, and trade high fives in the hallway. Younger students gain a friendly face to look up to; older students learn to lead.
Beyond the classroom
Elementary students learn in the Outdoor Learning Center and the DNR-certified school forest, visit their Grandfriends at Deephaven Woods, and enjoy specialty classes in art, music, physical education and Spanish every week.
