Campus & Facilities

A Campus Designed for Learning, Faith & Community

At St. Therese, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our 23-acre campus gives students room to learn, explore, pray, create, play and grow together. From dedicated academic spaces and our church to the woods and Outdoor Learning Center just steps from our doors, our students experience a campus designed to support the whole child.

Learning spaces

Our classrooms serve students from preschool through 8th grade, with spaces designed to meet students at each stage of their education. Our dedicated Middle School wing gives older students a space of their own, complete with classrooms, a science lab and a commons area that encourages collaboration and community.

Students also have access to a media center for reading and research, a full gymnasium with locker rooms, and a multipurpose cafeteria. Our on-site kitchen allows our Food & Nutrition team to prepare fresh, balanced meals for students each school day.

Faith spaces

Faith is woven into daily life at St. Therese, and our campus reflects that commitment. Our chapel and prayer room offer students a quiet place for prayer and weekly Adoration, while St. Therese Church sits just steps from the school and is home to our weekly all-school Masses and other special celebrations throughout the year.

The Outdoor Learning Center

Our Outdoor Learning Center brings learning into the outdoors. Designed in partnership with Nature Explore, this unique space features ten areas where students can build, climb, observe, plant, gather and create.

Thoughtful details connect the space to our Catholic identity and the history of St. Therese. Reclaimed church beams have become benches, natural and repurposed materials are incorporated throughout, and an entrance arbor with red climbing roses honors our patroness, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the Little Flower. A raised garden bed in the shape of a cross serves as another reminder that even outdoors, we are always growing closer to God.

The school forest

Just outside our doors is a DNR certified School Forest with six outdoor classroom spaces. Our Early Learning Center students rotate through these spaces daily, learning, exploring and playing in nature. Students across all grades also use the forest for hands on learning, including tapping maple trees and exploring the changing seasons.

Shared with our Grandfriends

Deephaven Woods Senior Living shares our campus, creating a special connection across generations. Students, preschool through 8th grade regularly visit their Grandfriends to read, play games and spend time together.

Athletics and play

Outdoor playing fields host soccer in the fall and spring, playgrounds serve every age, and our youngest learners have a toddlers-only playground of their own.
