Catie Brackin

Being a mom is one of the best things to prepare me for being a teacher. In addition to motherhood, I have spent my days as an educator in a wide variety of schools and age groups. I taught guided reading to first graders at Breck school, I taught preschool at St. Therese, and I taught Spanish immersion to 4th and 5th graders in the Minnetonka school district. I have had to use all of my teaching tools while working with this wide variety of age groups! However, what really makes me a great teacher is that I just simply love kids. I love helping them learn and grow, and I love how innocent and funny they can be.
