Biography

Since joining St. Therese School in 2021, my favorite part of teaching English Language Arts to middle school is walking alongside the students in every part of the learning process. ELA covers a large range of topics and skills that require critical thinking, curiosity, and wonder. I love watching middle school aged students make connections with what we learn in class to their own lives, and watching them grow in confidence in speaking, listening, and writing. Middle schoolers are just beginning to form their identities and I'm privileged to be a part of that process. Bringing our Catholic faith into our learning also enriches and gives that process a concrete purpose. I have seen the Christian spirit of joy permeate the halls and classrooms of St. Therese School; it is a special place blessed with many graces.
